No. Sugimori is working on Legends: Arceus. The characters are getting shitty Smash renders of their sprites instead.
This also means no new Megas/G-Max/Formes as there needs to be Sugi artwork of them.

We've already seen that there are no redesigns or new Sugi artworks. There will be no new content in BDSP. Cope.

The Gen 3 redesigns were a mixed bag, going from "okay" to "overdesigned garbage", so I honestly think this is for the best. There still should be plenty to criticize BP Oil Spill over, though, like how some qol features probably aren't returning.

Yes, and thank fucking good for that.
They won't be butchered and massacred like so many ORAS characters were. There were some bangers who are improvements from the original like Roxanne but those are very much the minority.

Wrong. Remasters generally use the skeleton of the original game with redone textures, music, and maybe some slight changes to existing models. This is being built from the ground up and even introducing new gameplay elements(360 degree movement, fairy type) so it's a remake.
