The region should have good worldbuilding. I'd like to see more about the culture of the people, or just some really neat easter eggs. I played USUM recently and got the pikachu z crystal from this pikachu that's a celebrity, I like cute things like that. Alola was full of stuff like this.
I know the games aren't really difficult, but I at least want to see some proof they cared about teambuilding in the game.
For postgames I would like a superboss or two, I don't expect them to spam Battle Frontier every game but I would love battles or facilities that reward skill.
