When we decided to raise the price they stopped coming and the regulars had a chance to buy product.This implies that you did it all for your regulars, that you did them a favor by allowing them more access to product, even at a higher price. There's nothing wrong with doing this, but it's disingenuous to say it like you did it out of the kindness of your heart.
