I think a lot of them fuel the "Hate Culture" you see around Pokemon in the past few gens. Because aside from making videos about how awful things are having really taken off a few years ago, making videos about how much you "hate Pokemon" rather than how much you "love Pokemon" makes you look like less of a shill.

Add in the unrealistic expectations and fake leaks that >>47179953 brought up (but not that they caused in any way Pokemon's yearly release decision), and they definitely make the English-speaking Pokemon fanbase more insufferable as a whole. No idea on the non-English fanbases.
