i have spent the past 4 in game hours (~3 real days) massacring every single cubone in Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town with thief trying to get a thick club for my sick ass adamant cubone. I decided to start catching them today on the off chance that thief has some sort of chance to fail, and sure enough all the ones I catch are itemless. Is there any fucking way to get a thick club easier? Marowak is one of my favorites in gen1 but he's total shit without a thick club.
