I'm don't nessesarily agree with hating Ash, but I will say his character has been dragged on for too long. I would've rather had his story conclude 15 - 20 years ago rather than continuing it forever into perpetuity

Season 2 would have been infinitely more interesting if the perspective switched to Jimmy and he eventually picked up the GS ball at Oak's instead of Oak giving it back to Ash.
Then Jimmy and Ash would've fought at the league to mirror the Gold v. Red fight.
