Why do people hate Amoonguss? I thought it was a pretty inoffensive design.

I just never really liked its face. Others like Oddish to Gloom do the "cute to ugly" thing better because the ugly one is still kind of cute. Amoonguss doesn't really have that same charm to me

Design is fine but it's annoying in competitive game. Spore + Redirection and great bulk is a pain to deal with.
