Team Galactic is really cool conceptually, but they didn't really do anything interesting with them in gen 4. Hopefully Legends does.

I'm gonna guess that the "Professor" is actually Cyrus or his ancestor. If it is Cyrus then I'd guess that Legends doesn't actually take place in pre sinnoh, it takes place in Cyrus's new world which he built.

The symbol on the past clothes is little more than the mark of the investigating professor.

PLA as a whole is an incredibly cool concept but I think it's incredibly difficult to get excited for the game when the actual gameplay looks like extremely early development footage. That wouldn't be a huge deal on its own if the game wasn't being released so soon but one year ain't gonna be enough to clean that mess up, not even close. It needs a sizable delay, badly.
