How come no one ever talks about that time when Darkrai killed a girl? Even back in early 2010's I didn't hear many people talking about it.

Yeah it was pretty cool, especially since they teased it in BW1. There wasn't any haunted house in BW1 and this more than made up for that. I also like how it was one of the few occasions in which a legendary/mythical got acknowledged in-game outside of their debut generation which I wish happened more often.

Darkrai is a species, not a single individual. It's perfectly possible that most Darkrai cause nightmares accidentally, simply because that's how their nature work, while some (like the one in PMD) might use the same power with the intention of harming others.
