Without any disrespect, why is it that new generation Pokemon games, the one from XY up to SWSH have such simple routes? (arguably, this also started in BW with the linearity of the region, but they still have complex routes within)
Shouldn't 3D augment the complexity instead of them being simplified?
Yes, there are complex caves like Reflection Cave, but they pale in comparison to things like Twist Mountain, Mt. Coronet or Whirl Island Cave System.
Is this because they want to appeal to their target audience more?
