However it’s not that bad, there are places to grind if you need to, most bosses are easy enough that you can win with a level disadvantage. There are several daily events in Johto so its not like the game was ever meant to be speedrun in a day or anything. Is playing the game a few hours longer than you intended really such an irredeemable flaw for a game to have?
