Ishihara, president of TPC, said he thought the Switch would fail, but while he does manage a lot of the marketing, the game developers that are Game Freak, Creatures Inc., and Nintendo would be more likely to make a video game orientated decision, and Nintendo would probably demand that Game Freak start working on a game for their new hardware. If you have somebody from Game Freak saying otherwise, or any sort of internal documentation, I'd be interested in knowing. As it stands, the only evidence I've seen is strings related to Alpha_NX and Omega_NX in home, which would mean fucking anything from ORAS ports to some other weird project that never got out of the planning stages.
