You can say it's a main game because the official site claims it's part of the "Pocket Monsters" series, but I don't see it at all considering they didn't even use that name for the game, used a new logo, and it's completely different. They might claim it's a different branch of the main series, but to me that's just hthem being afraid that it wouldn't sell as much if they advertised it as being what it is, and this also goes for Let's Go as well.
