What's the best case scenario for the next poke rep in smash?

Either for ultimate dlc or for smash 6

Sceptile, Blaziken or Decidueye are perfect imho
Grimmsnarl, Toxtricity or Sirfect'd if gen8 is mandatory. Even an Urshifu that can change his style with down b is ok. But please no galarian starter

In an ideal world? Gardevoir/Gallade or something from gen 5.
Best realistic option? Cinderace because I want an Inazuma Eleven character in smash and that thing is the closest I'm going to get.

I doubt we’re getting it, but if I had to guess dev choice is Inteleon, fan choice is Cinderace, and my choice is Rillaboom. So basically Inteleon or Cinderass. It’ll be something with a Gigantamax if it happens.

Assuming Smash 6 launches round about the same time as Gen 10, then it’ll be a Gen 10 rep. Possibly a Gen 5 rep for the remake but I doubt Pokémon is getting multiple reps per game since they’re already so big

First off, I don’t see a new Pokerep outside of an Echo Fighter Pass that gives Pokemon Trainer the option to only play as Squirtle, Ivysaur or Charizard

Finally although I again really don’t expect a Pokemon to be added in Smash I must concede there is a possibility
But only if the Pokemon chosen is a Legendary or Mythical so as to have the Reveal Video include some combat with Mewtwo for extra hype
Best Possibilities: Melmetal, Zeraora, Magearna, Zarude, or Deoxis (Using all forms except the Base)

I still want Rillaboom. Make it a sound-based heavy with a focus in ranged attacks. The closest we currently have to a range-focused heavy are moves like ROB's lazer or K Rool's cannon, so it would be a new playstyle.

I think it's going to be Inteleon. After the Pyra update the game's projectiles got a weird glitch that hints at the staff tweaking the way hits are detected depending on where in the body the projectile touches.
Feels like something that would fit the Snipe Shot attack.

I don't think we're getting any more pokemon in ultimate, but if we are I think the gen VIII starters ship has sailed and that, since sakurai already has a mock up of decidueye's moveset, he'd do an ancient sinnoh pkmn trainer... Cyndaquil, dewott, decidueye
