I don't have a picture right now but I just started an UM nuzlocke, so far all I have is my Popplio (named Sirena), which was a female with good stats and a SpA boosting nature on the first try.

I'd give it a 4/6. Pretty solid. Skarmory and Slugma are fun picks.
I'm playing Emerald right now too. Just got to Slateport and this is what I have so far. Ralts really helped against Brawly with Double Team spam. I'll definitely be adding a Gulpin to my team, not sure about the other two spots.

I'm standing in front of Victory Road in HeartGold and contemplating quitting. I've had a miserable time but I really like my team so I'll continue. I'm pissed I won't be able to have Tyranitar unless I grind 15 fucking levels. Ho Oh is in because there's no point in training a sixth pokemon. I could either train someone from level 20 to level 45 or just overlevel Feraligatr and stomp the shit out of everyone. I've had 5 pokemon for most of the game and there's never been a point training another because of that reason. Ho Oh is level 45 so I'll take it along as backup and for Bruno.
Yanmega has been a treat. I bred signal beam onto it and it's kicked ass. You can find choice specs in Johto so with those it's quite strong. I wish it got a flying move, but air slash is thirteen levels off.

I used Ho-Oh in my recent HG for the same reason. It was enough of a pain on its own to train up my team of five so using the legendary made things a bit easier. I also used Yanmega, actually. Mine sucked but I didn't breed Signal Beam onto it so I was using one with just its shitty learnset. I taught it Shadow Ball which is pretty strong but without STAB it still failed to do any decent damage.
Aside from that I like your team. Nidoking and Magmar are cool picks

I don't know what it is but magmar always ends up in my games. I always go out of my way to catch one if it's available. Usually it's just for a flame body egg hatcher, but I've used it twice now and it's pulled its weight.

No clue. This will be my first time using it. But it learns Toxic at Lv.31 and it has enough bulk to take hits well after setting up poison. Plus it gets the Stockpile + Spit Up combo. I don't think it gives the Defense boosts in Gen III, but it still sounds fun to poison the enemy and charge up a strong Spit Up while they're taking poison damage. Could be fun

Durant is actually critically underrated and has god-tier minmaxed stats and a great typing, it will outspeed and kill anything with minimal EV training and shrugs off physical attacks with zero investment, but it can't take a special attack, esp if it's fire type.
Drapion i just use the psuedo-bug clause; it evolves from a bug, is counted as a bug by the devs for Aaron of Sinnoh E4, so I'll keep using it. But if I feel like I don't want to use it, I'll throw Scyther in.

Platinum Team. Playing on MelonDS and it crashes all the time, but I'm just past the Pastoria Gym now. I don't often use Normal types but I forced myself to use an early one and Lopunny is actually decent so far. Return, Jump Kick and Ice Punch gets a lot more done than you'd think.

My recent Platinum run had Lopunny has my best fighter and the only reason I could defeat Cynthia. Jump kick, return, ice punch, thunder punch made up for a lot of coverage I was lacking. Faster than anyone else, can take hits especially with a screen up. Cute charm helped more than once. Also as a buneary the only time I ever used foresight to effect to sweep Fantina.

I did use two Rare Candies on my Ninetales to get to Lv 75, even though the level cap is Lv 73 at the moment, mostly because I really wanted Aurora Veil
Half the team has maxed IVs so I'm working on getting the other half maxed
It felt so damn cathartic to actually beat bosses first try from Sabrina and onward

I've been playing through the Next Gen hack for Gale of Darkness, just recently arrived at Realgam Tower after the News studio event in Pyrite. Unsure if I want to keep Ludicolo or swap her out and use Grovyle again. I'll very likely be rotating out pokémon as I go. The only pokémon that are definitely staying in my team are Clefable, Espeon and maybe Magnemite.

The problem with Flying types is that the amount of them that can actually learn Fly (great for travel and decent move in-game) is limited. Staraptor is the generic team choice but it's also easily the best user of it. Otherwise you're dumping it on special attackers like Drifblim or Togekiss, or having to transfer from other games like Honchcrow.

Only if you evolve it before it learns them. Gloom gets all the powder moves + Acid and Petal Dance, and it gets Toxic and Mega Drain by TM. That's all a Gen I Grass-type really needs

Nice, anon. I'd be worried about the Dark type overlap with Bisharp and while Hydreigon, Volcarona, and Bisharp are powerful, it's Kingler that's standing out to me. There's a Pokemon I don't really see much in playthroughs.

He's one of my favorite Water types and I wanted something a bit different than usual. I used him in a RR playthrough too a while back as well. Peeved that the documentation for BB says he learns Waterfall but he doesn't in-game, though.

DO NOT use drifblim Drifblim was a mistake on my recent playthrough. It might be best if you just have a flight pokemon sitting in your box for when you need it. Alternativley Tropius is available in the safari zone.

I feel like this is something that people overlook too often. Yes it's kind of inconvenient to take a mon out of the box whenever you want to fly somewhere, but it's not so inconvenient that you always need to have a flier on your team, especially because Fly is never required for progression. I just kept a Pidove in a box in my last BW run and it wasn't a big deal to just take an extra couple seconds to take it out to Fly somewhere when I needed it

I actually just defeated her there now. Oddly enough, I can attest to Lopunny doing more work than I'd expected. Took out the Lucario and Garchomp on her own (tanked a Dragon Rush) and then dented the Milotic enough the rest of the team could finish off pretty easily.
