Definitely, I know he came up with crazy shit in his early drafts but still after they got filtered and finalized they came out great. Shudo would've prospered in gen3. Pokemania would've died down but I think even more people would've stuck around.

I enjoy Shudo. Reading the LN is a lot of fun. But Shudo himself expressed concern over how long Pokemon could keep going, so I don't know. I think >>47208958 has the right idea though. Working with a board of people on some fresh ideas would have made Pokemon a different beast around Gen 4.
