>>47214184As much as it pains to say it, they aren't doing anything wrong gameplay-wise. They are catering the series to children, which is what they've done all along. Children that grew up with Pokemon have, of course, grown up into adults with (debatable) two brain cells to rub together, who understand complex puzzles, storylines, and battle strategies. Your average child does not, especially not nowadays. There's not even a need to grind anymore, there's EXP candies to do the work for you.
If they are guilty of doing anything "wrong" its that they don't provide subtle choices for adult players that they KNOW are a huge part of their market. Skipping the tutorial, unlocking a challenge mode, even something as simple as turning off the exp share would be enough for the majority of their adult playerbase.
