I have not bought a new mainline pokemon game since Sun and Moon. I did not buy Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon, I did not by Let's Go Eevee or Pikachu, I did not buy Sword or Shield, and unless BDSP seriously changes its tune, I will not buy it either.
Your words are hollow and meek, shill. They seek out gaps and weaknesses, but will find none. My armor is my contempt. My shield is my will, and dream for a game that is actually good. My reinforcements are fangames and romhacks that are better than the sweet words, empty promises, and dark gifts of Nintendo, GameFreak, and The Pokemon Company.
You will not find me wanting, shill. Your vile claws and tendrils beat pointlessly against a guard forged in fires hotter than your dark master's ire.
You will not find me wanting, shill. The master's call that sends you scurrying to do its will is ice cold, to the fire that burns bright in my breast, and may yet serve as a beacon to galvanize the hearts and guards of my brothers. But even if I stand alone.
You will not find me wanting, shill. Your masters send you to this task in a frenzy, for they fear me. They promise you the world, they promise you a universe unto your own, they offer you your wildest dreams, because the cost of fulfilling your small, base needs is a pittance, is insignificant to the threat I pose. You are yet nothing but a pawn, shill. A disposable one, bought with whatever insignificant trinkets your masters would not miss, that your small, deprived mind could envision. They will sacrifice you; throw you to your demise, for just the chance, the futile hope that they can wrest from me the thing they truly envy, but can never have. That you are even here proves that I am worth more in your master's eyes than you will ever be.
But you will not find me wanting, shill.
