I’ve even seen someone here being very adamant to delphox not being furry.
On the other hand a lot of people think of Pokémon as *fictional* animals and this is even promoted to some extend by this franchise like New Pokémon Snap being a thing and giving almost all Pokémon more animalistic cries and even a guidebook from TPC saying that Pokémon replace the animals. So it’s not really incorrect to refer to Pokémon as fantasy animals. And furries tend to be people who are really into fictional animals combines with how heavily involved are furries in the Pokémon side of the fandom and it’s clear why people would call you one.
