>>47224543There's so much projection going on in your post that I don't even know where to begin.
>Pokemon is just a glorified rock-paper-scissorsI don't understand why the Nuzlocke challenge and its Hardcore variation make people like you seethe so much. The series of rules grew from the community and make the game more interesting to play. It seems to me that this sort of thing is healthy for a community. You can't complain about the games being too easy and then get mad at people for making them harder. It's not like people have suddenly forgotten that, at the end of the day, they're playing Pokemon.
>Wait you actually LIKE reaction videos?I liked his reaction to Jaylen's, yeah. He just uploaded one reacting to FlygonHG's Monotype Fire Run, so I'll probably watch that since I appreciate FlygonHG. He's the one who got me into Pokemon Challenges and is the only other PokeTuber I can stand.
>you shouldn’t need to form a parasocial relationship with a strange manchildI don't have a relationship with Pokemon Challenges or FlygonHG, I just watch their videos. They seem the least manchildish and, in the case of Pokemon Challenges, the most self-aware out of the PokeTubers that I've come across at least. There may be more professional or mature PokeTubers out there, but they have weird voices that I don't like listening to. Like WolfeyVGC. Everyone talks about how he's much better than PChal, but his voice is just a nightmare.
>learn basic Pokemon gameplayI don't watch his videos to learn anything, I just like hearing his perspective on things. He's not really selling you basic rock-paper-scissors gameplay either. He goes into things like stats, abilities, how the AI functions, and so on, which I would say is vital information for people who want to play with his set of his restrictions, or play harder hacks like Emerald Kaizo, a game that's all about knowing movesets, abilities and the like.
>Grow up or a grow a brainPot calling the kettle black.
