It's bad because it won't be in future games even if they would benefit from it, and they won't expand it in the current game because the series relies on future games to have enough times to flesh things out.
We saw it happen with Z-Moves, and it's happening with Dynamax. How is that fun?
Do you really enjoy coming up with random bullshit and spending all day defending Dynamax just for it to be dropped like it was nothing next game?
Like fuck, you guys call them "generational gimmicks" but there isn't a single one of them that even outlasted the region they were introduced in. We couldn't even go all of Gen 7 without getting rid of Z-Moves and it's looking to be the same deal with Gen 8.
