This is NOT my childhood.
My childhood had the most features out of any game at the time, being a true successor to Emerald.
My childhood had the National Dex, and was filled with many hours trying to complete it via the FREE Nintendo Wifi.
My childhood had Pal Park, which inspired me to get older GBA games that I didn't even knew existed until I looked it up.
My childhood was refined with a version that vastly improved the elements that BDSP is blindly recreating at the expense of a better experience.
My childhood had Platinum, HGSS, BW, BW2, and XY. All games that at least had a solid enough foundation and core principles that the series was meant to follow. You cannot say this was your childhood.
This is a cruel mockery of anyone whose first game was Diamond's childhood. I could NOT have paid for three separate subscription services totalling $40 just to play what was already a $40 game. Yet they somehow expect children today to not only pay those extra fees, but do it in addition to $60 for the base game?
Nah. This is yet another glob of spit in the face to anyone who was fortunate enough to have lived in that time. Just another in the series of damnations that this series has been shitting out since Sun and Moon.
