Meg/Typ fans only seem more because they objectively have it worse than most since Game Freak seems to have gone out of its way to make Meg and Typh some of the most useless Pokémon ever by cucking them out of movepools and conveniently leaving then out of every buff opportunity. Game balance can’t be an excuse since there are starters that are Ubers.
If anything Meg/Typ Haters are the insufferable ones because they're the ones who have been been throwing a tantrum ever since Meganium became the Snap Mascot and Cyndaquil became the Legends Fire starter
