>>47232387Not forgetting, a girl named Koharu is Prof Sakuragi's daughter. She was introduced in the beginning of JN. When she was younger, she used to like Pokemon and went to a summer camp with Gou. However, due to the Runaway Yamper incident she experienced (Venonats coming at her), she became disinterested in Pokemon (except Yamper) and focuses on her daily life and school.
Ever since Koharu met and interacted with Gou and later Ash, she eventually was inspired once again to like Pokemon, to the point she went with them to Hoenn region to help her brother's friend.
The turnaround came when a special Eevee came to Koharu's school. Koharu protected Eevee and realized Eevee wanted to be under her care. Koharu, at the prompt of another professor, caught Eevee as her 1st Pokemon, officially becoming a Pokemon Trainer. Since then, she has now occasionally went with Ash and Gou on a few trips.
