I'm glad they're gone. Dynamax/Gigantamax is even worse, but I'm happy that the cancer is gone even if it was replaced by total organ failure.

There's a reason why GO and the PMD remake both ignored Dynamax and added Mega Evolution instead

I hate Dynamax and was vocal in calling for it to be banend on Smogon. Not to mention I think that GMax forms are just as hideous as Megas on average. That, however, does not excuse how bad Mega Evolutions are.

We'll need to see what happens after swsh but it looks bad for Megas so far because they aren't really being pushed outside of those niche areas.
