I still feel like this design is missing something. Maybe it's the proportions? To me, it looks stuck somewhere between middle and final evolution, like those drawings of the in-between evolutions.

I think you're correct - which is a double edged sword for me. On one hand, it succeeds at what its intentions are, but on the other, it doesn't make me like it as a starter. I think that's a trait common amongst the starters I dislike...that they'd be fine filler Pokémon.

Wow that looks terrible. Give it longer arms if you must but giving it muscular arms is fucking stupid when it’s theme is soccer, a sport that primarily uses legs and feet. Hell, it’s not even a goalie, it’s a forward
