Also Dynamax adventures are cancer
Raids in general are a nice concept executed badly, Pokemon gets so close to feeling like a proper jrpg but can't stick the landing

It actually is.
The murals tell that Calyrex came to the land wounded and heavily depowered; and showed signs of fear whenever it saw an open hand reaching out for it. It's very heavily implied that, like with the dogs, Calyrex fought Eternamax-Eternatus and helped to seal it away but got seriously roughed up in the process. This, like the dogs, eventually got lost to time and all that remains of the legend are the scattered signs dotted around the tundra.

Why did these Game Freak fuckers think a base game with only 2 or 3 legendaries was ok? 5 should be the absolute minimum. Roamers (or puzzle legends), mains, and a super giga legendary (mewtwo) should be in every game. Fuck X and Y for starting the whole, only 2 obtainable legends (per game) shit, and fuck everyone for not calling them out on the bullshit.

There is nothing wrong with having a small amount of Legendaries, do you want to go back to the retarded shit with the Genies and SoJ and a bunch of other dumb filler gimmick legends who serve no purpose other than to exist?

X and Y didn't NEED anything more than Xerneas, Yveltal and Zygarde. All I can say is that I think Diancie should've been in the base game as a normal Pokemon rather than a Mythical (and given that it was meant to evolve from Carbink that might've been the original intent with it anyways).

SWSH's roster of Legendaries are just terrible. The dogs aren't cool and act as last-minute ass pulls, Eternatus needed actual build up and Urshifu is just a normal fucking Pokemon with "Legendary" slapped on it for marketing reasons.

The only good legend background wise was Calyrex and his design is a bit shakey.

No. 2 is too few. There should always be a trio somewhere in the game because they always make the game feel better and the world more alive. They tried to do this with the bird trio in X and Y, but it was lazy and more kanto pandering. They should have made a new trio to encourage exploration. The bird trio, the beasts, the regi, the swords of justice, they all make the worlds feel more mystical and interesting. Not having something like that is lame.

I disagree, I always saw a lot more creativity and fun sets in it and I've had lots of awesome unique battles there as opposed to OU where everyone uses the same 10 Pokemon. I've had more fun in Gen 7 BSS than I ever have had in any other meta except maybe National Dex. About the only thing I ever genuinely hated from it was the bullshit that was Moody Glalie since it just devolved the entire game into an hour long luck-based-event where a win or loss was decided by how much the RNG felt like sucking Glalie's dick that day.

Coincidentally, I fucking love Urshifu and I'd have killed to have him in Gen 7.
