Left. The left one has a more iconic art style, but more than that it has an air of intimidation around it. That looks like a massive bird that is ready to slap your shit. Right, while not being bad in any way, doesn't give off the same imposing vibe. The glow is so subtle and subdued that it just looks like he's warming up so you can sit in his lap for a nice and toasty nap.

has a good point; the glowing is portrayed better on the right and I'd say that's one of Yveltal's most prominent characteristics, so they both have their own merits.

I like left as an artstyle but in terms of actually presenting the design right is better. A lot of the details get kinda obscured in left (Glowing on the wings and tail, how solid a lot of the colors actually are on the design)

I'm all for having more of the old sugimori-style artwork but having art that accurately depicts the color scheme of the pokemon is better to have first.

Even then it still wouldn't present accurately to the design. Sugimori's art is amazing but it has a bad habit of making it kinda unclear what actual shade of color the design is supposed to have.
