I've seen a lot of discussion about how the Split affected the franchise since coming back to /vp/. I wanna ask what you would rather prefer happen to the series in that case.

Or how about the physical/special split happens and more mons have a diverse movepool on top of that? Not everything has to be a mix of good and bad. You, in fact, CAN just universally improve something without making another part of it worse.

Which is why I said MORE and not ALL. Lilligant does not in fact enjoy having nothing Grass, Normal, and one Bug-type move at its disposable.

This would just result in there being universal "standard" attacking sets.
Every physical attacker would just be running Close Combat, Shadow Ball and Stone Edge.
