>>47250270This. There are bipedal Pokémon that looks perfectly fine, like Rhydon, Feraligatr, Breloom, Loudred, Infernape, Scizor, Nidoking, Krookodile, etc. and many many more. Bipedal alone isn’t the problem, it’s a certain level of anthropomorphizing them that makes them too human like, especially when it’s too much like a literal fursuit (some of the worst offenders are the ones with perfectly cylindrical tube legs like Obstagoon and Chestnaught). Being an animal that is never seen on two legs can be another negative, but sometimes it can be done right by making it look monstrous enough, kinda like Kaiju mons. Rhinos and Crocs are never bipedal, yet Rhydon and Krookodile are fine. It’s worse when the mon is both super anthropomorphic and is given a specific job (badger that is a member of Kiss). That’s my best summary of the issue.
