I feel like I should let you know that I purchased and am enjoying Let's Go Pikachu though, so... You may not feel that way anymore. Seriously, I'm at Lt.Surge and I think LGP is amazing. Only thing I wish was different was the Wild Pokemon thing. I'm not sure if I like this not-being-able to fight thing. It seems a little bit anti-Pokemon. But the minigame it has been replaced with at least seems fun. Riding on your own Pokemon is much better than how SMUSUM does it.

The worst-selling game was Crystal (spin-offs being irrelevant to the discussion, though they sell less again) due to it selling the least of ALL the games Game Freak released under the Pokémon brand. Which means there always needs to be a pokémon game launching to get them interested in the brand. By which metric, BW would be the lowest selling games since they have sequels rather than third versions. However, if you wish to count those, too, then XY would be the big loser in sales due to having no definitive re-rerelease.

I'm ecstatic gen 8 sold amazingly.
