For those who think Gen 9 is comming in Late 2022? Are you fucking retarded? Do you really think the game that is considered a "Bold New Direction" be cannibilized by another traditional Generation just a few months later? If they announce gen 9 right after legends releases, Legends won't sell for shit. They need legends as an experiment, and it's sales will affect the development of gen 9.

Who's to say BDSP and Legends won't have DLC?? 3rd Versiosn are dead and from now on, it's DLCs and content updates. Just like how they bundled Both DLCs' for SWSH, they will do the same for Legends and possibly bundle it with the rumored Nintendo Super Switch. This is the game that broke all of the Patterfaggotry this board with the "3 year development" cycle. The series is now evolving into the Open World meme. People at Gamefreak are getting tired of producing the same monotonous shit almost every year. Because of this change, Open World games will now take a little longer to develop (similar to the deviation of route designs from Gen 6 to Gen 7 where it was no longer grid style, thus the gap year in 2015). BDSP and Legends is now a way of splitting the mainseries to Classic and Modern. It's clear that Legends was supposed to release alongside BDSP in November 2021 but the plans have changed internally due to the situation in the world.
