Playing Renegade Platinum. I rotate mons regularly so that everyone gets a shot. They're all at least Level 75. I'm thinking of adding more party members, at least 6 of each type. But the ones listed here are my main bros.

Playing Ultra Sun. I’m outside the volcano area. I find myself constantly switching pokemon in and out instead of focusing on building a set team. The only one of these six I don’t plan to bench is Mudbray since he’s Impish with Stanima. Other benched members include Warturtle, Rufflet, and Rockruff (who might rejoin the team once he can evolve into Dusk this evening).

Beat Radical Red with this team. The champion fight took me an hour to figure out and it was just a matter of persevering until it came down to his Darmanitan-G and for whatever reason, it locked itself to U-turn. I seized that chance though and my Volcarona blasted it away.
I had a ton of fun with this ROM hack though; the pure catharsis of going from being beaten by every boss to actually beating them with more tools and resources available felt great.
This would be around the time I fight Sabrina, where I got the Mega Ring for Gallade and I was able to acquire Volcarona, then the difficulty ramped back up when it came to Blaine and kept escalating, although the Cerulean Cave story event actually went by without a hitch.
Nearly every single fight brought me down to my last Pokemon, something which I've never experienced in any Pokemon game before, and it really felt like all of my Pokemon were fighting for their lives.

What I'm running through in sword right now with,through Zacian is currentlly replaced by Hatterene because I haven't done the story that far yet. I think this is my best tieam but I really wanna add a lucario, stupid anime made me want to have a double battle with my Cinderace and Lucario and while I have one she's not good fit for this team because she's in a moon ball, everybody on the team right now are in pokeballs for the sake of sanity but I DO have a team in mind for where every member has their own unique pokeball.

Just got defeated by Lance twice. This is so stupid. Funnily enough I learned how fast his dragonites are because of the speed difference in magmar's and yanmega's speed stats, which is 2, so I'm just gonna grind golbats in victory road, I guess.
It's not even fucking difficult it's just three dragonites and I've got exactly 1 ice move and 1 dragon move. The rest of the elite four is a bunch of goddamn scrubs. I'm probably just going to need Ho-Oh to do reflect and that'll be the only way to beat him.

Playing through Radred and this is the team I've been rocking since Celadon. Araidos plays the thankless role of a Web setter even though I'd love to use him as an SD sweeper. Aurorous used to be a Refrigerate+Boomburst Nuker but now sets up Aurora Veil/clears weather. Pyroar and Clawitzer hit shit hard, and Hitmon punches shit and uses priority.

I'm at Blaine right now and I'm super happy to finally have Banetteite after waiting for so long. Also considering swamping out Mach Punch on Hitmo for Bulk Up, but I'm not sure I'd have the chance to set-up or would miss the added SE priority move.

It sets up Sticky Webs, which alone makes it vital to the team. It also gets No Guard in RR which was critical in killing Sabrina's Hatterene before it could set-up TR.
Aside from that, you'd honestly probably be better off with something like Rimbombee or something for a Web Setter. I'd love to use as a sweeper, but it's too frail and Webs are too important for it to do anything else besides die after turn 1.

Hitmon got a lot. Iron Fist boosted to 1.3, Sucker Punch getting boosted by it, and 115 base att. He's honestly not bad, though Top and Lee are probably still better.
Araidos got a slight buff to 95 att from 90 and a major buff to 70 base speed from 40, as well as No Guard as I said previously.
