Its the highest quality of figure. Anything beyond this is a statue. Its literally the nicest pokemon product available.

The statue is just meant to create emotion and show the two sides of the same coin. Mewtwos agression against mews compassion. Its sort of daoist, like yin and yang.

I think you get more respect from good statues by looking at bad statues. I'd say this is a bad interpretation of mewtwo. It lacks emotional depth. All it says is "mewtwo is strong" but not much else. The static pose isn't helpful either.

You don't have too. Its not for everyone. I encourage you to get the figuarts when its on sale for 50$, but i know alot of people don't like that.

I think mewtwo is alot cooler in motion. I think its better at comveying emotional depth than his edgy words.

Personal favorite is Articuno or Entei but Mewtwo is interesting lore-wise. I love the concept of man-made Pokemon and having one that is biological and not steel is cool.
