Designs are pretty bad in most of cases, not gonna lie, but it's more challenging than any pokemon game. It adds new content from time to time as well.

There aren't any great temtems. There are some good ones, plenty of okay ones, very few outright disagreeable. But there are no real 10/10 love-at-first-sight monster designs like there are in Pokemon. More than the gameplay that's TemTem's most vital flaw.

I wanted to say that too but I feared it would damage the validity of my claim. I'm no coomer but sexual attraction is often correlated with broader visual appeal. Designing something that people want to fuck is better than designing something that no one has any strong feelings about in the first place.

I used to think this but I'm not so sure anymore, they are very slowly starting to bring people back since the endgame isn't total dogshit anymore, it won't ever have the population that it could have but I could see it having a decent playerbase a year from now if they keep up the pace.

It's slow as shit and the designs are ass. The evolution mechanic is dumb as fuck. The player characters are "choose your pronouns" trash. Tranny devs. It lacks the charm that makes Pokemon good.
