I agree! Fakemon are always really cool, even if the execution doesn't turn out quite as well for some people, it's still something to think about. I always have a bunch of ideas, but I could never find a way to properly convey. I'd draw them out, but I'm not too confident in my art skills yet to showcase what they look like.

Too bad 99.9% of fakemon are garbage with uninspired designs. The art styles almost never match that of actual pokemon and hence they end up looking like cheap generic mobile game monsters

I agree with you. I really don't like any bara starters, Incineroar, Rillaboom, and even Chestnaught(not sure if one). But with Incineroar I always thought it had a okay basis in wresting, and Rilla is a gorilla (still awful), and Chestnaught is just an ugly design that bears no resemblance to its first form.
