Okay guys thanks for checking in on my Legends any% speedrun. The requirement is simple: catch Arceus. So first thing first Im going to change my switch clock to a new moon date but also night time and get my starter. I picked Chimchar but it doesnt really matter. Now is the time to get a houndour and get put to sleep by a wild drowzee. As you can see Darkrai appears. The catch here is that Darkrai only attacking move is [Dream Eater] so my houndour is only taking chip damage by Bad Dreams. Now everyone knows that Heatran is the fastest way to scale Mt. Coronet but not everyone knows that Dodrio is surprisingly the fastest ridemon to reach heatran with its decent speed and high jumps for cliff/rock traversal. But first we need to quickly complete the Kurt ancestor quest for some good balls. Catching Heatran isnt too much of a hurdle with [Dark Void]. Mt. Coronet is slippery because of its continuous rain cycle so Im going give Chimchar the [Sunny Day] TM (I found at the hot springs) to dry it up. After youre done scaling the mountain use your fishing rod next to spear pillar and DONE. Use Heatran {Earth Power} and [Dark Void] and youre set.
