It's not so much the name pronunciation, but the feeling that he legitimately thinks he is funny and trying to force a meme is off-putting.
Also it got tiring just how misinformed he is despite being a world champion. So many dumb plays because he just had no idea what abilities certain Pokemon have, or didn't know how some attacks or hold items function.
It was also annoying how ADHD his commentary is. He would start talking his thought process, but stop halfway through and begin a new thought.
