Either of those would be great styles for a Pokemon game, but they're also so different from each other I don't think you could just slap them on for the same game. MH: Stories would be a good look for something like Sword and Shield, while Ni no Kuni would do better for something like Legends: Arceus. That said, I don't hate how Legends looks art direction-wise, it's just bad graphically.

Honestly I think SWSH looks better in combat than that Monster Hunter Stories 2 screenshot.
Ni No Kuni looks far better than the towns of swsh and I would welcome an improvement to the overworld graphics.
