So I was banged up during SwSh prerelease. What did they lie about specifically? That the dexcut will allow them to make more animations? If that's the case how were they able to make 700+ models for XY and all their battle and Amie animations?

They put so much work into XY because they got a ton of value out of being able to reuse the textures/meshes/animations for nearly every game in the franchise including spin-offs.

Updating resources that are only valid for a single game isn't worth the investment. So far every single Switch Pokemon game has unique looking models while SM, Go, and Masters pretty much 1:1 reuse XY's models.

XY has 721 Pokemon while BW has 649 Pokemon.

XY has 5 battle maison modes while BW has 3 battle subway modes. XY also has Inverse Battles and Sky Battles on top of that.

XY has 500+ Pokemon to catch in-game while BW only has around...200ish Pokemon to catch?

XY had Pokemon amie and super training minigames while BW has...that shitty dress up side mode I guess?

Where exactly does does BW have more content again?
