This is my team, nothing super spicy or original but it gets the job done and i really needed that buff on Beedrll.
I run Hex with BB and SB with jelly to either bait and gets some shields or if its a Bastio lead i spam BB until they either swap or since they have 0 attack spam SB
ANinetales has Powder Snow and has WB and that fairy nuke for coverage
should i run Charm on ninetails?

In my opinion it is impossible to make all 20 sets of fights by midnight, at Niantic they are incompetent who do not know how damn slow the Great League fights are. You fight against the clock more than against your opponents and you start playing badly! Towards the middle of the fight set I'm running a Double charmer with razor leafer to be able to finish all the fight sets!

when i was level 38 i got xl candy from gbl rewards, which i understand was a glitch. my question is, as a level 39 scrub, can i gain xl candy in other ways i.e. walking w/ my buddy, or will i really start at zero XL candy when i hit 40? because if so, that sucks... gonna have to grind so fuckin hard to get enough xl candy for my rank 2 medicham :(

Unpopular Opinion: The poison type buff didn't make GBL any better.

I see double ground and double if not triple steel team running.

These are the effects from the buff type to the poison type, they make the metagame even more boring and cumbersome.

You're extremely sad if you run up against poison on the lead, but frankly this line should probably work just fine for now.

Not to sound like someone wanting to put a second bandage over a deep scar, but this is what happens when you just give an underrepresented type a buff, and not address the core issue. If Niantic was actually concerned about fixing GBL, they would add more strong, generalist moves for Pokémon of types that counter the big trio (dragon, fairy, and steel). Ideally, Niantic would make overpowered moves for Pokémon that don’t get a STAB bonus from the moves (presumably moves like Will-O-Wisp, Knock Off, Sand Attack, Toxic, etc.), so that Pokemon that aren’t particularly useful for their type can be useful as an alternative role for another type (ex: Vigoroth with Counter).

Serious Question: My favorite streamer is doing a special milestone event during a stream that takes place during the majority of community day (not Go related). The stream technically starts at 11:00 am, but the main event isn’t until 1:00 pm, and I wanna show up to help him out since he only gets around peak 20 viewers at a time. My current plan of action is to just play at the mall for an hour or so in order to watch and play with pokestops, then head home to watch the main event. Any advice on what else I can/should do to improve my community day experience with those restrictions?

All CP does is just change up the meta from A to B. It'd be interesting to see the CP formula applied to turn based combat.

It's the fast move damage that has more of a centralizing effect than CP desu. GL is a meta where fast moves do quite a bit of damage and charge moves are almost always KO's after charging up. UL and ML are much different beasts since fast move damage is much less impactfull there and things can usually survive a single charge move even when it's SE.

Thanks, been running swampert and skarmory core with DD forever and feel like switching it up. Big fan of Froslass and I like the thought of using DD to draw out darks and alolan marowak that would give it trouble. Not sure how shadow poli lead would work with that back line, but it’s so spammy it probably doesn’t matter against most things with an energy advantage.

the only elite tm worth using for pvp is dropping two for dewgong or one for lickitung. dewgong is the only mon with legacy moves thats been consistently good all seasons. and i dont think his moves will get nerfed anytime soon besides maybe a slight nerf to icy wind by like 5-10 damage. and lickitung will be good forever unless they do an entire pvp revamp.

Separate GL question, is it worth wasting the dust giving a Hypno a third move? I'll probably be glad to have him when the inevitable Kanto cup happens again this season, but I've gotten burned out on building up other mons that were supposed to be useful in GL but it never tied a team together.
