Headcanons thread

No.47303993 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Here, we talk about our headcanons and discuss those of others.

I like to think that only professional trainers have teams of 6 pokemons. To me, pokéballs are only used to facilitate transportation. Most of the time, at home for example, trainers leave their pokémons in semi-freedom, like pets. But of course it takes a lot of time and money to take care of 6 or more pokemons, it's a full time job. The character we play in the games is an exception. The majority of people don't live from pokemon battles, and therefore don't have the means to have many of them. Most of the time, people have only one pokémon, like in the movie Detective Pikachu.
That's also why many people don't evolve their pokemons: besides the fact that many people don't like to make them fight, it's harder to take care of a Nidoking than a cute little Nidoran.

This explains why so many children have insect pokémon: they are very easy to raise, require few resources, and mostly don't take up much space.

Do you have some personnal headcanon too?
