>>47314673A twenty year old water energy card that is PSA 10/10 is certainly worth more than any other ungraded water energy card of any other condition. The point is to wait. Slab now, sell in two decades. Let 50 sets go by. Let nostalgia creep into the hearts of your potential buyers. Then show them this immaculate and flawless card, even if common, in perfect condition, preserved and graded by a legitimate and world renowned institution. Then get your premium profits.
The people that slab now to sell now are working against every other person slabbing now to sell later. You don't buy a $3 card to spend $3 to slab it, to spend all the weeks waiting shipping it back and forth (and paying to do so, both ways), to sell it for $10.
You wait twenty years, after the fees and shipping waiting have long left your memory and you sell it for $50+, which to others might be an extra special deal because sealed packs from that set might be ten times the price and fees could be upped through the roof, and a buyer only needs that one card to finish a row or set or edition and is willing to pay more to ensure they get it.
