Too lazy and derivative. It didn't innovate at all and the story is worse and more boring than BW. It's also overly linear, way too handholdy, and too easy. The graphics are pretty bad too.

I dunno, the difficulty felt same if not worse. I had to go out of my way to find difficult battles in the Battle Chateau and Battle Maison.

The difficulty is the same. Both games you just spend the entire game mashing A to one shot Pokemon. The same way you have to go out of your way to get difficult battles in XY by going to the Maison you have to do the same in BW2 by going to the Subway. But XY makes it easier to find online opponents which are even more difficult than the battle facilities.

You're right, but BW2 at least has an unlockable difficulty option though with circumvents that. The only way to improve the difficulty of XY is through a romhack.

The difficulty option is unusable because you need another game. I'm not paying double the price of the game just to get a difficulty mode that isn't even difficult.

Agreed, not justifying GF's usually shady business practices. But the option is there. I just wish difficulty options were an available option in more Pokémon games instead of them being mash A to win simulators in general.
