>>47315729To be fair, I wish he was the main rival but the issue that SwSh had was the whole 3 rival idea. The spotlight was spread unfairly between the three, Hop gets the most attention which made him come across as obnoxious and annoying. Marnie is a non-existent cardboard cutout because of how little appears, Bede has the same issue only he has a lot to say or do during the very small moments he appears in. However, GF/TPCi seems to advertize both Hop and Marnie more, hence why they both have things like final remixes of their battle themes whereas Bede's stays the same throughout.
