I’m so very ready for Gen 4.

Back in 2007, when I was about 12, my house burned down. Lost everything I grew up with. My SNES, my GBC, my GBA. We moved in with my dads secretary, and she bought me a DS and I got Pokémon Pearl. It was a strange summer. I had already been moving around a lot for a few years, so I didn’t have any friends besides a couple of people I tried to make connections with on places like Gaia and 4chan. I was lonely. Spent most of my days that summer excited for the Simpsons movie, hanging out alone watching music videos on the direct tv on demand for bands like RHCP, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco... I spent so much time playing Pearl that summer. I spent so many warm, lonely days in the plaza.

I’m older now, and I’m not lonely anymore. I live with my gf and our cats, my ex and I have shared custody of our son, I’m doing okay! Healthier then ever. Haven’t had a drop of liquor in about two months, which is the longest I’ve been sober since... 2009 or so

It’s going to be a cozy winter with you guys and I couldn’t be more excited.
