Pokémon is Slavery

>“B-but they don’t have chains around their necks!”
They’re indefinitely bound to the compact ball they were captured with.
>“B-but it’s a false equivalence!”
Pokémon are kidnapped and forced to do whatever you task them, most notably as fighters for financial gain. The relationship is beneficial to one side, the other simply gets the bare minimum essentials it needs to stay alive and keep the slaver satisfied.
>“B-but I don’t see my Pokémon as slaves! I-I even have these sexual urges towards them, though that’s because I can’t get laid irl and turn to pornography of the Pokémon to cope with my ineptitude!”
Congratulations, you don’t whip your slaves, you just force them to put themselves in danger and harm so you could gain money or fake for yourself. And if you’re one those weirdos, then congratulations, rather than force these creatures to hurt themselves, you molest them instead, that clearly doesn’t make you a sexual predator.

These are simple, irrefutable points. The whole sham about Pokémon actually liking to hurt themselves has to exist for the franchise to continue, otherwise it wouldn’t be so mainstream.
