autumn is based since we don't have a lot of grass mons doing the autumn theme and it's the best season

The fact that the season form is permanent after you catch it ruins the concept.
Since it's just cosmetic anyway, it should change forms based on real time seasons.

How? it's not like they made Castform and then decided not to make Snow Warning or cherrim because those abilities and moves are redundant with weather, or that they made the shitty location based evos and then decided not to make Oricorio which las location based forms

I like the idea of it keeping it's normal typing instead of grass, would make it a bit more interesting. Normal/Grass for spring, Normal/Fire for summer, Normal/Ice for winter. I have no idea about fall though, I don't think ghost works that well but I see where you're coming from
