Actually...Torterra use Sword Dance two times, then two Rock Polish, a Full Restore and finally reapeat Earthquake 6 times if you are in DP, if Platinum, 5 Earthquakes and one Stone Edge. That is the most easy way to beat Cynthia.

Unlike Infernape, Torterra is not made of glass, anon, he can tank at least one super effective move without dying, and that´s the reason behind the use of 1 or 2 full restore if you have bad luck with that.
