No one. No one hated him, he was just an afterthought, like a lot of second version Box Mascots after Generation 2. It's hard to compete with the simplicity of a wolf with a sword in its mouth. Something about that imagery makes it easily acceptable and beloved. Zacian's normal form has a sleeker design too, so there's that. It exudes power and to some extent, authority. Zamazenta may look powerful in its regular form but it doesn't exude the same presence as Zacian.

In what world are Pikachu, Charizard and Lucario broken? I'll give M-Lucario cuz they are obscene. Even M-CharizardY wasn't broken back in the day. Was it good? Yeah but they were nowhere close to be broken. The passage of time wasn’t particularly good to either of them, X could had been broken if his Speed was at least 110. Hell, Mewtwo is not broken (for a legendary). Greninja and AG did NOTHING in Doubles. I dunno about bunny but as far as I know, Monkey is the good pick there. GF “balances” for doubles and doubles only so if something is broken is singles that is a coincidence. Does Incineroar count? Cuz yeah, he is good. Zoroark failed pretty hard as well.

My biggest problem with shield is that Bea and Klara don't even appear on it. I hate Gordie and Allister equally. Avery is the worst exclusive character. I would get an erection if I could hug Melony. I like Zamazenta even though it can't use psycho cut.

Guess what moron? Zamazenta was still shit even when restricted Pokemon were allowed for that one Series 8. They don't balance around Doubles either as Game Freak legitimately though Pokemon like Malamar and Aromatisse would be staples in VGC.

They do whatever the hell they want, and then act surprised when their estimates don't turn out accurate, like how they genuinely didn't expect Aegislash to be a VGC staple despite giving it a solid movepool, a solid typing even after steel's nerf and 150/150 Offenses/Defenses it can switch between on the spot every turn.

The worst part is that Zamazenta in both forms is really close to being top tier in Ubers. Give it more bulk from its Speed (88 Speed to get 165 each), have Dauntless Shield increase both Def and SpD, give it Steel type Jungle Healing, all the moves that otherwise fit it but doesn’t get, and make Behemoth Bash work off its Def and Zama is now arguably S tier

I feel like this was a short-sighted way to "balance" the ability with Zacian's. So that they both only raise one stat.
But it's a retarded decision because Intrepid Sword is literally always useful, while Dauntless Shield is only useful against half of the moves it's hit by.

Because Blizzard absolutely dominated Gen 1 meta. Having only Water and Ice resist the move and in some versions of Gen 1 had a 30% chance to Freeze (basically a KO) on hit.
And because of Freeze being such a powerful effect and Psychic types being everywhere, Ice types effectively only had Rock as a weakness.
Ever since then, they have been making most Ice types shit or making a regular OP mon held back by its Ice typing.

Maybe Game Freak should give Ice some actual resistances and buff some of the Pokémon like Aurorus and Lapras (don't pretend that 99 or 85 special attack or 59 and 60 speed are fine). It may be an edgy opinion according to the RPG progression tards who thinks that some Pokémon need to be shit just because, but it makes perfect sense.
